On January 24^th, 2024, HCD along with IDEA-Africa and West Asia Regional Office, International Media Support/IMS-Fojo in Ethiopia and Civil Rights Defenders/CRD in Ethiopia participated in a panel organized by the Embassy of Sweden in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and met with, Mr. Ulf Kjellstig, the Head of Africa Department the Swedish International Development Cooperation/Sida to highlight the Horn of Africa electoral process and democratization challenges.
